             Global Sales Segment Director - Mobility (m/f/d)
                                    remote-based

Your responsibilities

The objective of this role is to lead and execute sales strategies, develop key accounts, and drive growth in the Mobility sector (including Automotive, Airspace and Railway). This role will involve managing business opportunities across multiple regions, enhancing customer relationships, and fostering team success, while ensuring alignment with Cabka’s overall strategy. The job includes the following:

Strategic Sales Leadership:
▪ Develop and implement growth-oriented sales strategies for the Mobility Segment, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives and in collaboration with other Sales segment leaders and the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
▪ Drive sales growth by achieving and surpassing volume and revenue targets.
▪ Analyze current market conditions and expand sales with existing accounts while securing new, profitable business opportunities.

Customer and Account Management:
▪ Serve as the primary point of responsibility for strategic mobility customers, fostering long-term relationships and delivering exceptional service.
▪ Work closely with Product Development to align on the development and introduction of new products tailored to the mobility market.
▪ Provide regular feedback on market price levels and trends to optimize pricing strategies for Portfolio and Customized Solution products.

Organizational Development and Team Leadership:
▪ Set up and continuously develop the sales organization to support growth in the Mobility Segment
▪ Inspire, coach, and motivate an international sales team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
▪ Conduct performance reviews, develop team members, and enable them to contribute new ideas and solutions
▪ Monitor and manage team expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
 
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
▪ Collaborate with other Sales Segment leaders to design and implement a global approach for the Mobility business
▪ Work with regional Area Sales Managers to establish cross-selling initiatives and follow up on their success
▪ Partner with the marketing team and CCO to define marketing strategies, including participation in exhibitions, advertising campaigns, and promotional programs
▪ Consulting advisor for USA market in Mobility segment OEM’s and Tier 1.
 
Budgeting and Reporting:
▪ Define and manage the budget for the Mobility Segment, ensuring financial objectives are met
▪ Provide regular reports on sales activities, market developments, and business performance to the CCO.
 
Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
▪ Conduct market research & analyze competition to identify trends & opportunities for growth
▪ Act as a key member of the sales management team contributing insights & strategies to strengthen company’s global mobility presence
▪ Full responsibility for battery cell developments: developing & implementing market strategy in collaboration with CCO (m/f/d), developing solutions winning & developing clients.

Your profile

  • Recognized degree in Business Management and/or technical fields
  • Profound working experience in a senior management role in sales – ideally in an international environment
  • Successful track record in implementing sales strategies and executing sales objectives, building effective teams and leading/coaching a performance-driven sales team
  • Experience in Strategic Key Account Management and Strategic Advanced Negotiations
  • Professional experience in the plastics and/or packaging industry is advantageous
    Strong network in automotive logistics, particularly with OEMs and/or tier suppliers
  • Target- and solution-oriented, with a strong drive for success
  • High customer orientation
  • Experienced in using CRM systems and SAP
  • Effective communication and proven negotiation skills
  • Open-minded team player with experience in diverse teams
  • International mindset
  • Fluent in English and German; Additional language skills (French, Spanish, Czech, or Polish) are advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Office 365
