                                       Master Data Management Specialist (m/f/d) 
                                                          based in Valencia

Your responsibilities

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Management Specialist to join our team in Valencia. If you thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and have solid experience with SAP and ERP systems, this can be your next career move.

  • Main responsibility (ensure, monitor and optimize quality) for the General Master Data within the ERP system
  • Define and implement Master Data processes and clear structure to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Maintain and update general Master Data, with a strong focus on material master records
  • First contact for SAP Master Data creation/information for all SAP (key) users
  • Responsibility for maintenance of Master Data: cleaning up, archiving and maintaining the actual Master Data, so the Master Data is always up to date
  • Coordinate material Master data setup and validations with applicable cross functional departments ensuring data quality and integrity is maintained
  • Execute changes to SAP Master Data (customer, material, BOM, routing, supplier level, etc.) as approved by the business to create, change, delete, extend, flag for deletion or otherwise noted
  • Collaborate with business units and key users to resolve data issues efficiently
  • Plan and execute Master Data projects
  • Analysis, adjustment and documentation of General Master Data processes
  • Develop Master Data governance and ensure compliance to it

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business informatics, Science, or related discipline required
  • Experience in central Master Data Management
  • Experience in working in ERP environment in one of the domains (MD, PP, MRP)
  • Professional working experience with SAP
  • Ideally good knowledge of processes in a manufacturing business
  • Independent, autonomous, structured and process-oriented way of working
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Good understanding of business and its processes in relation to ERP
  • High Level of Accuracy & Attention to detail
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Self-starter and hands-on mentality
  • Strong reliability and team ability
  • High commitment and flexibility
  • High customer and service orientation and quality awareness
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams
  • Strong Office 365 skills
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP Master Data like materials, vendors, customers, workcenters, Bill of materials, routings
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken (German language skills a plus)
  • Willingness to travel to production plants
