Your responsibilities
Portfolio Ownership
- Own the complete pallet portfolio strategy and roadmap.
- Define portfolio priorities based on market opportunities and business value.
- Manage product lifecycle from introduction to phase-out.
- Maintain portfolio profitability and competitiveness.
- Drive portfolio simplification where appropriate.
Market & Customer Intelligence
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Identify emerging opportunities within logistics, retail, pooling, industrial and export packaging markets.
- Gather customer insights and translate them into product improvements.
- Support strategic positioning of Cabka's pallet solutions.
Business Case Development
- Develop business cases with finance team for new products, customisations and investments.
- Quantify market potential, sales volumes, profitability and investment requirements.
- Define product requirements together with Engineering and Operations.
- Support CAPEX evaluations and associated opportunity tracking.
New Product Development
- Support program manager on launch readiness and commercialisation.
RFQs, Product Changes & Customer Opportunities
- Manage RFQs related to pallet products.
- Define product solutions together with Sales and Engineering.
- Coordinate product modifications requested by customers.
- Ensure opportunities progress through Cabka's process.
- Track business conversion and post-launch performance.
Commercial Support
- Act as the product expert for pallets.
- Support key customer meetings and strategic commercial discussions.
- Develop product value propositions.
- Support pricing recommendations and profitability analysis.
- Provide training and product knowledge to Sales teams.
Performance Management
- Monitor sales, margin, volume, market share, forecast accuracy and product profitability.
- Define corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.
Innovation & Sustainability
- Identify innovation opportunities linked to recycled materials, PPWR requirements and circular economy trends.
- Support the Innovation Lab with market-driven ideas and customer opportunities.
- Ensure sustainability benefits are translated into customer value propositions.
Your profile
Education
- Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Packaging, Business Administration or similar.
Experience
- 5 years in Product Management, preferably in the area of Packaging or Logistics
Experience in pallets, reusable packaging , or plastic injection molding preferred
Proven experience leading cross-functional projects.
Strong commercial, business and financial understanding.
