HR Generalist (m/f/d)

 full-time/part-time, based in Ieper (Belgium)  

Your responsibilities

HR Administration
  • Main point of contact and support in the production facility, including regular visits during night and weekend shifts 
  • Advise Managers and employees on personnel-related issues
  • Support day-to-day operations and taking on administrative tasks, providing HR-related support incl. the internal communication with the employees 
  • Support health and safety initiatives 
  • Maintain HR databases, manage employee records and ensure job descriptions are up-to-date
  • Contact person for external and internal auditors
Recruiting & Onboarding
  • Responsible for the implementation of recruitment measures: pre-screening of applicants, interviewing, employment contract creation and onboarding processes & maintaining the contacts to recruiters/headhunters 
  • Manage local employer branding activities
Performance Management, Learning & Development
  • Support/assist the annual pay, performance cycle & support shift leader team with evaluations. 
  • Coordinate and organize Training Programs, Team-Building activities in close cooperation with People leaders
  • Help building a sustainable company culture
People & Culture Projects & Digitalization 
  • Participate in global People & Culture initiatives such as HR digitalization efforts

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-4 years of HR experience in an international company
  • Strong knowledge of Belgium labor laws and HR best practices
  • Discreet and professional in handling confidential information
  • Independent, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and flexible
  • Strong communication and intercultural skills
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
